That discussion board one actually works. Got an A in that portion of my Senior Sem doing that. This is gold.

@thesickestsinner

This is her calling. You can DEFINITELY use the same hacks at your job with a few tweaks here & there!

Literally this is how I’ve survived 3.75 years of college. This is gold. This is truth.

Passing college like a Slytherin………I love it

i want to embody every girl.

i want to be a sunday school girl in the ‘60s, red ribbons in my hair, two neatly tied plaits the color of wheatfields, riding my bike down cobblestone streets, sunlight kissing my neck.

i want to be a tattooed punk rock worshipper, electric blue hair and ray-bans, fishnet stockings and the city a blur of entangled lights in the rear-view mirror of my motorcycle.

i want to be a venice girl who reads valentines for a living, rapunzel hair all soft sculptured ringlets, a pet blue bird and summer dresses in floral prints, long eyelashes and sowing glitter.

i want to be a french artist and revolutionist in the ‘90s, nude paintings and led lights, portraits out of beer cans and pencil shavings, a student of the fine arts falling in love again and again with the light and how it falls on the sidewalks & people’s faces & the trees.

i want to be this girl and that girl, a romanian princess in her 20’s, an old witch with a grisly past, a lost traveller on the run, a victorian model, a historian with an appetite for gardening, an archaeologist who nicknames all her finds, a singer who grates her guitar on boulevards in italy and cafes in paris for the spare dime, an english man’s favorite daughter. i want to be a struggling ballet dancer with an emotional dependency on poetry, an astronaut who discovers a parallel universe, a noir film actress who smokes too much and has eyes like diamonds, a fortune teller, a vigilante, a musician. every girl’s soul whispers to me.

i want to write for them all.

modern mythology; mermaids // a(est)hetics // my aesthetics

her feet hurt, but then again they always do. what was it? like broken glass shards slicing through the soles of her feet..? something like that. Sometimes she sits unmoving in salt-water filled porcelain, closing her eyes, pausing life. It isn’t close enough but it suffices. she used to love walking at the start, love every sensation of touch and sense on her feet, her legs. not anymore. It’s tiring. somehow, it’s as if something’s lost, a part of her. but when she stands near the ocean, her feet hurt even more as if soft sand were razor blades and the ocean threatened to swallow her whole, disintegrating every tendon and muscle into foam. how ironic. she’s not supposed to be afraid, she’s suppose to love it with all her heart. She still does, you see. she loves every wave and crescent, every drop of salt and the ever-changing blue. just that, it’s nothing more than an object of nostalgia. not that she can help it. land is dry, parched, in it’s own way, enjoyable. but her feet hurt. she’s stuck in between. somehow, unnoticingly she doesn’t belong anywhere anymore.

Greek mythology : Naiads (Ναϊάδες)
Naiades were believed by the ancient Greeks to inhabit the freshwater streams, springs, wells, fountains, wetlands, rivers and lakes and featured in the legends and mythology of Ancient Greece. The Naiades were minor goddesses of nature, specifically the rivers and waterways of the world. Naiades in art and legend are often depicted as young, beautiful maidens situated near a waterway, carrying a water jug (hydria).

i thought of angels
choking on their halos

(get them drunk on rose water)

fallen angels who rip the feathers from their backs and devour them hungrily, scrambling for every last shred of their former lives and trying to cram it back into their bodies, panicking when grace starts to bleed from cuts in their skin, slurping it from their veins, desperately trying to force themselves back into what they once were. all the band-aids in the world won’t hold divinity into your bones.
